In today's world anywhere from 2 to 5 million people die each year due to some type of drug abuse. The main reason why people today in the world do drugs is peer pressure. When anyone is influenced by people or someone who does drugs, it makes them not fit in. Then your friends start doing it and you feel even more uncomfortable, but they are your friends you can't just leave them. They persuade you to experiment, and try it. They keep aging you on, they just don't stop. Sooner or later you are trying it. This is considered peer pressure. How about when you go out for the night maybe to a party with some buddies, and they are all doing drugs and drinking, but you can't attend the party anymore so you start to leave and your friends are telling you to stay and have a good time, but by them doing all that... Smoking and drinking and what not makes you feel like you want to, but your friends see you eying that blunt or the bottle and tell you to try it and just keep pestering you till you are pressured to do it. So now you have read about many different possibilities in why people do drugs in this world and how it may become about in peoples lives. You also read about peer pressure which is the main factor in drug use today in the world.
This should get peoples attention right away and ask them selves, why people today do drugs? Many people do drugs today because of many possibilities such as personal problems, mental disorders, and if they just like the feeling; but the main factor in why people either do drugs or get started with them is peer pressure.
People throughout the world turn to drugs for many causes. Depression is the feeling that your not wanted or that you feel like an out cast to others. People in the world today suffer from this emotion called depression. They have no one to comfort them, or be there for them which makes depression even worse. So to feel better, they might get around to being in the wrong place at the wrong time and find themselves doing drugs. They could be doing this to fit in or even to make them selves feel better and not be so down and depressed all the time. People who are more depressed find them selves taking depressantswhich calm and relax the nerves in the body; therefore, would make them feel better and get them hooked to the feeling and keep turning to drugs so the cycle doesn't stop. Another cause; personal problems, there is an endless list of personal problems people could have. People who lack the will of seeking help, turn to drugs to simply try and "fix" the personal problems, but by doing drugs only makes it another personal problem so it really doesn't fix anything. But when they do it, they aren't remembering why they did smoke the joint or why they took the pill, they are more focused on the feel.

What is 2012?
The Long Count Calendar of the Ancient Mayans ends on Dec 21, 2012. There isn't much information regarding what the Mayans thought would occur in 2012, but the consensus of opinion is that there will be great change. To some people this means a positive, spiritual change. Others, like myself, consider that a catastrophic event may have been predicted. people to this day wonder what will happen on December 21 of 2012.There have been many not detected possibilities but many conspiracies and thoughts that may take place on the date which is known to be the end of days. Many scientists have done studies over the past decade or so and our planets in our solar system are suppose to align every 650,000 years. When this is to happen it is to make the magnetic poles in unique alignment which makes all the planets magnetic poles. this would cause a reversal. pole reversals have been happening on average once every 400,000 years, with the most recent one being 730,000 years ago - so we are well overdue. Not only do we not know much about reversals, scientists are still unsure about how our magnetic field is generated. Long thought to be a by-product of the movements of liquid iron in our planet's core, recent studies are suggesting that our salty oceans might be the cause. Scientists suggest a geomagnetic reversal takes thousands of years and does no harm. They are wrong - it could just as easily happen overnight. No mechanism is known for the cause of the magnetic poles swapping places. Our magnetic field is known to be rapidly declining 10% in the last 150 years, and the magnetic North pole is moving around at an accelerating pace - it has been predicted it will move from Canada to Siberia in the next 50 years. These changes could be indicating an imminent reversal. This is just one of the 26 possibilities that scientist have came up with.
